i have an 01 lb7 with diablosport tune, single stack, intake, stock automatic tranny. My truck cuts out in 5th gear and doesnt allow me to go any faster, normally around 85mph. sometimes it will throw a code and sometimes not. now is this an overboost? or the allison tranny being "smart" and not letting the 5th gear accelerate anymore?

did some research today and found its code PO238(turbo boost sensor) and a code PO700(transmission control system malfunction). So what can i do to make these codes not happen?

 

turn the programmer down, it will keep on going off. idk if diabloaport lets you turn off codes

 

DTC P0238 Turbocharger Boost Sensor Circuit High Voltage (check for loose wiring or a possible bad sensor)

DTC p0700 is a request from the tcm to turn on the mil lamp if you know someone with a tech 2 or efi live they could pull the code from the tcm i have had this code come up once about 2 years ago cleared it and it hasnt come back

 

x2 Turn the programmer down.. Thats your stock trans screaming for a break. You will wish you had it turned down when you smoke that TC and your on the side of the road.
