a straight piped LB7 is goin to be loud. I dont get your question though If you want to know the size of the stock exhaust it is 3.5". If you want to go to a bigger exhaust it depends on what you want to do to the truck. it dont matter if you go with a 4" or 5" straight pipe its goin to be freakin loud.

My lb7 is super loud with a muffler delete pipe (straight pipe)... Sometimes wish it was quieter, but at times its great to pull up beside a Geo Metro with windows down and fill that little matchbox of a car with black smoke... Oh, the people love it

I've been told that a four inch sounds better on the lb7, but i can't really recommend either, being that mine is 3.5" minus muffler... but i'm also happy with mine as is...

I have 4" straight. Its loud and will always make people head's turn (or in some cases grab onto each other) if you romp on it...
