Default need help on a chip

hey guys my dad is buying a duramax, its a 04 with 50,000 miles, and im buying him a chip for it for christmass, now i need your guys help on what chip or tuner to buy him, im not worried about the price so if you could just give me your opion and what you preferi would apreciate it because im a powerstroke guy so i know nothing about duramax.

well if he wants something that is pretty much plug and play and just wants a little extra he can get a diablo, ppe, edge, banks it does not matter. its if hes one of those guys who doesent want to be messing with much then he could get one of those.

for daily driving he wouldn't want to go over 80hp on the tune, any more the trans will slowly start to get weaker and then you will eventually need a rebuild.

alright thanks man, yeah he isnt someone who wants to go nuts just alittle extra power incase some is messing with him and to tow and such you know how it is

yeah, then any chip would be just fine for him. now u just have to think if he wants adjustability on the fly or not

duramaximizer is a nice booger for on the fly

I like my Bullydog, seems to work well. Also checks/clears trouble codes, new they run like $450-$650
