Default Exhaust Question

Hey Guys,

I am hoping to buy a new 4" or 5'" exhaust from the turbo back. Just wondering what size and brand you guys suggest?

Also my truck is all stock except for a AEM cold air intake. Am I going to need anykind of programmer if I add the exhaust or not? Thanks

If you are going to Stright pipe it then in the end all it will be is a very long piece of pipe. a 4 inch is quiter than the 5 and the hp gain is slightly more on the dyno. The egt difference should not be a problem you you either way since yours truck is stock and a 4 inch is well more than enough for trucks that are 500hp.

if you want a good free flowing quiet exhaust there are many out there just about all the 4 inch ones are good if you want to get fancy with the exhaust then you gotta pay more, but for the gains in horespower and drop in egt's get an aluminumized since your in AZ they are cheaper and ive had mine for almost a little over 2 years and its fine down here in TX. Any Exhaust is good, having one with a muffler is gonna cost a little more.

a 4 inch would be fine for you but bigger is always better
