Default adding boost valve with tuner?

Anybody Know what type of boost numbers I may be runnig with a hypertech tuner? I was going to buy the PPE bost valve but dont want to over boost the stock turbo?

you should be fine with the hypertech n boost valve

i'm runnin a PPE standard with the PPE boost valve and i usually have it at a 220hp tune and i haven't seen over 28psi. except once and that was goin uphill at 70 and i hit 29 for a split second. normally i'll hit 25psi tops. so you should be perfectly fine. But yes listen to FastCR, GET GAUGES!

Well I am, planning on getting a boost/egt gauges any idea where I could get some good info on a install?

LOL Thats why I come here for free advice! Seriously though how tough of a install am i looking at. there is no way I am drilling into my turbo! wOULD it be ok if I put the sensor in the turbo down pipe? Right after the turbo?

boost valve takes maybe like 30 seconds to install.

you cut the rubber hose in the front of the turbo that goes to the waste gate in half and pop that valve in and hose clamp it on
