heres a good thread the Danny (2500heavyduty) put together to get you started. https://www.dieselbombers.com/durama...ly-primer.html

as for a good smoke tune, you have to be careful because smoke=more fuel which equals more power. To much power and your gunna have one un-happy allison on your hands. But to get you started try adding some pulse width where hightlighted, and in the throttle based injection table add some mm3 in the lower rpm areas (aka low boost) at high throttle. Also look at the MAF limiting tables you can max those all out at 100.

alot of smoke will create lots of heat too, high egts come with it.

one of the easiest ways is to turn up the MAF limiting tables like Justin said

tables b0751 and b0752. stock they limit how much fuel can be commanded based on how much air if being measured by the MAF. but if you change them all to 120 it wont limit the amount of fuel based on how much air is being sucked in anymore.

it will give you soome smoke, but to get alot theres some more tables you would need to change. I leave my b0751 and b0752 tables stock...

you could also add fuel to start up to have smoke come out everytime you turn on the tuck by modifing table b0731

you can be fast with alot of smoke, but egt's and spooling characteristics and not to mention drive pressure could be better with more work done in the tuning vs just adding tons of fuel

oh and i think ima just paint them, theres so many **** and crevises in them its gonna be a real pain to polish them good, but heres a pic of my driver side upper valve cover. i spend about 45 minutes with it.

Oh yeah I know you can still be fast with smoke, I was just poking fun at some of them dodge boys that roll some serious coal. I just personally like a tune that cleans up real well once the turbo lights.

Looking good what color are you gunna paint them? They looked damn good in red on Lonnie's 82 chevy swap.
