Hi everyone. I have a 2003HD D-MAX with 270,000 kilometers and i was thinking of putting propane injection on the old girl. I was woundering if it would hurt my truck if i added propane. I use it for work I don`t pull anything to often most of the time i just drive lots of miles aday looking for better fuel mileage. So if anyone knows, thanks for your input.

 

Propane will definately help your diesel mileage. It needs to be treated like anything else. Excessive diesel fueling, Nitrous.. any of it can hurt your truck in excess.. But a well setup propane injection system can be very beneficial.

Ya i put a hypertech chip it`s about 97 hp, i also have 4inch xhust, also put air intake throttle body spacer, booster valve. It`s a 6.6 LB7. I would like too put propane for better fuel. Maybe new tranny this summer. Thanks for the help.
