Default idk what this does...

what would it do iif i got rid of the 6.6L thing in my truck? What's it called the resonator? and how much is it to do?

i would guess you have the engine cover with the hose on it?

I took mine of a while back its supposed to give you a little more turbo whistle is what they say. Some say quicker spool up. Its real easy just plug the hole in the intake with a 2 1/2 quick plug i got one from home depot.
I would say i maybe got some more whistle, but for $3 its worth a try.

I have mine off. Just plug the hole and your fine. It doesn't need to be on the truck.

i keep mine on, i hides things. but its the slim plastic cover with out the resnator.

Be sure to check the plug every other month and lube it with vasoline or something, I have heard horror stories of the rubber in the plug dry-rotting and coming apart and allowing pieces to enter the turbo.

I put a cap on mine. Less likely to get something dropping in.

i just took a pvc cap and turned it upside down and shoved it in the hole. it stays and i haven't had any problems with it yet.
