Default My PPE Boost Increase Valve

So i was told i should do a write up of this. But it's the first think i've ever done on my own so i'm just going to tell you what i did.

First i had to remove my 6.6L cover which was kinda hard cuz the guys at the dealership tightened it a little too much. I ended up just pulling it off which didn't break anything so i'm guessing it's okay.

then i found the hose that goes from the wastegate to the turbo.
then cut about 3/4" out of the center of the hose. I actually use just a piar of sharp garden shears to cut the hose. That will be the amount of space you need to fit the increase valve. when putting the the hose in be sure that the arrows are pointing towards the wastegate. After that instal the clamps on each side of the Boost increase valve and you should be good. I wish i had take pictures as i was doing all this but i kinda didn't think about it and it was pretty dark when i did it. but here is the finished project...

i'm pretty proud of myself since it's the first thing i've done.

i've only drivin it a little bit since i've put it in. and it's kinda hard to tell on acceleration cuz like the cops are crackin down since it's the end of the month. i actually got a ticket in my neighborhood today.
but i think my turbo is a little louder. and it seems a little faster. but i like it.
i'll have some type of programmer and gauges soon so i'll know how much boost i have.

Default here' mine...

Don't beat me up 'cause I drive a Dually Ram 3500 with the cummins. Although this worked fine on my turbo I'm sure you guys running the Fords and Chevys have the same situation on the boost thing.

The pressure regulator I made to make sure my waste gate stayed shut until a predetermined psi then the reg opened and started actuating the waste gate diaphram.
Works like a charm. I too was only getting 25-27 psi of boost max and after this little mod, I was able to peg 30 psi no problem.

I tried to get the pics uploaded but couldnt get the pop up window to work that allows me to select the pics on my drive, so PM me if you want to see 'em.
I'll try to upload in a second posting.
