The first time you take your new car in for an oil change, beware: Many 2011 models don't use the same oil as the equivalent 2010 models--even if they look virtually identical otherwise. And accidentally refilling with another oil that costs less could end up costing you big; using a different oil could void your warranty. It's no doubt something...

This is a good thing to watch out for. This pertains to only gassers by the way. Be sure to check for the SN or GL-5 designation on the bottle. Some companies may be behind in getting this out.
AMSOIL, for instance, has not reformulated their long life oils (ASL, ATM, SSO) to meet these as of today. These are the ones that at labeled for 25k intervals. AMSOIL did however reformulate their XL line to meet these specs and also increased the interval to 10k, 6 months, or DIC, whichever comes first.
