When we were looking for our R Class back in early 2008 the dealer said wait a bit and we'll be bringing out a Diesel, Hybrid capable of close to 75MPG (imperial). Thinking AWD and 7 speed auto that's one hellava challenge. If they actually did that, I would consider it the only Hybrid I would actually even look at.
