Default Canadian Auto Workers Union Reaches Deal With General Motors

The Canadian Auto Workers Union agreed on a tentative contract with General Motors, but said that it was still in talks with Chrysler.

Wages and benefits for 4,500 Canadian Auto Workers employees will be saved, reports Automotive News. The deal between the union and Ford will help ease concerns in Ontario, where auto production has fallen each year since 2000. At least something is settled before the deadline. But we are hoping to fix all the problems as soon as possible.
