So Often, Small Business People Forget the true goals of owning a business! The Bottom line of what were all doing is to help others! It seems to often that we base our thoughts and efforts in the wrong places, when we focus on money , our focus turns to greed, which in turn, makes us vulnerable to circumstance, what dose that mean? That means the end result WE FAIL... All to often we fall short when it comes to stopping on the side of the road to help someone, making a call just to give someone an encouraging word, or doing something that we don't want to do, FOR NO CHARGE...just because its the right thing to do! Lately I had a mechanic working with me, that was a complete lack, I'm not doing this to speak badly of him , but he's worked for me 5 times, failed each time, and could even be a great mechanic! He seems to Be lacking motivation, or care for what he dose, Would you know that I've let three vehicles leave here UNDER half price , just because it took longer , or I had to redo everything he did?
I guess what I'm saying, is we should all make it a goal to do something to help someone, without any benefit to our selfs at least once a week! It really helps us stay in touch with reality!
Last week I repaired 2 buses on Sunday , the Temp was around 5* , and since it was a church group, I dropped there road service charge and only charged them $190 for about $400.00 in labor alone. I'm not telling this to make myself or my employees look like saints or for more sales, I'm simply trying to say, Its Nice to Receive Emails like this!
Lucas,
I wanted to thank you for your efforts the Sunday before last, for all that you did to get our bus going.
I was the happy driver of the mini-bus that had the fuel issue. I never got the chance to shake your hand and tell you how grateful I was and am for what you did.
It was more than fitting that this happened on a church trip. Sunday evening during our worship service I reflected on the days events and how God touched more than just a few kids that weekend. People like you are a blessing. And like blessings you never know when and where you'll find them.
My office has quite a few good church going folks. When I told them the story about what happened on Sunday they were laughing and in tears at the same time.
Not if but when we come out again I'd like to stop by and say "hello".
Thank you, and know that you have touched someone in a very profound way!!!
Regards,
Blake
Again, I know this is a long rant, But Please Folks, Lets Keep in mind What we all actully here for!!!
Thanks
Lucas

Lucas, The powerstroke parts for my pops truck weren't needed. We figured it out, and it was just a problem with the threads on the adapter, no stripping. As far as I know my old bosses truck is still running great. I left them with your number, because you are the only person they would take the truck to in the future. My brother is still up in Boone, so I'll tell him your lookin for some help, he may know somebody.
