Beer 0093

Greetings all,

I'm a SFC in the Army, and I'm taking automotive classes at CTC.

My KJ CRD has a 0093, trouble code.

My instructor, wanted to do a fuel pressure check, but we could not see a schrader valve any where on the fuel rail.

I bought it used, with 1001000 miles on it, and did not get an owners manual with it.

I've read some of the threads, and will clean the MAP, and the MAF sensors, and check on the filter.

I need to check the car fax to see if the 100,000 service was done, but the engine is a warranty long block replacement, at around fifty so, I guess I need to do the math on that.

If any one knows, if, and or, where the schrader valve for the fuel rail is, please clue me in.

Oh yeah...

The fuel filter... In the tank, or on the line somewhere?

I read something that lead me to believe the later.

Thanks in advance,

sfchooligan

Please be patient, I'm still gathering information about this problem.
The local Jeep facility promised to support in this case.

hi, also worth doing a leak back test on the injectors, might save you a lot of head and heart and wallet ache, seems the valves in the injectors would sometime go causing strange fuel pressure issues
