I read somewhere where unplugging the mass airflow sensor after start up will increse mileage and power? because the egr doesnt come on unless the maf is conected?

the engine might not run or run poorly with it disconnected, when you unhook the MAF on most vehicles they will die or run horribly......the MAF reads all of the incoming air into the engine and all the computer calculatiosn are made off of that.....

the truck has been run with it unplugged for 7500 miles...no problems other than a little slow starting...mileage is good at 22 combined...
