Only 26K miles. Still have the stock "Good" Years on. 225/75/16's if I recall correctly.

 

Hmm, I have the european VM 2.5 TD Cherokee ( the brick)and gain 28mpg on highway.
But you have a fuel efficient CRD, so your mileage should be much better.( I use the same tires)

 

ok, now that I have re-routed the crank case gasses away from the intake and no more egr, I'm getting 25-26 over the same route as before. My current best is 31.2 that was with the cruise set at 56mph(gps) most of the "boring" time, A/C on, and in the top overdrive. Also when factoring mileage on these, the odometer reads less miles than actually traveled even though the speedometer reads 2-3mph faster then actual speed. It has 235/70-16 BFG long trails at 40psi.

 

I'm working on the EGR delete at the moment. I had to rip off the intake manifold- it had a nice and thick layer of 1/16" up to 1/8" of soot and oil in the intake at a mileage of 62.000miles.
Thats not acceptable at all. So it has to go.

 

my wife gets 28-31 with hers mixed city highway and it has a painless performance module

 

i am getting 22 most of the time. nothing has been done but it is pathetic. if anyone know where to buy products that i could do myself to get the better mileage that would be awesome. i guess the trade off is the awd.....

 

I know this is an older thread but my wife gets 16-20 and thats in city with cold temp! It used to get up to 28 highway but i put bigger wheels and tires and a lift in it so its 23-25 at 75 mph. I will say that u cant go by what the readout says!! Everyone wants to buy it from me!
