I had one in my '93 chevy, and they are not 100% theft proof.

I have a couple questions for you.

who installed it?
did you use it correctly (take it out every time you left the rig)?
did they tow it?

installation is key and making things so stealth no one can see where it was. It takes me 2 hours plus to do an install and when i am done, you can't see anything.

there was a company out there trying to mimic the Ravelco a few years ago and they failed and went out of business.

I had it installed by the dealer back in '93 when I bought the truck new. Yes it was a Ravelco and yes I used it everytime. A theif will find a way to get around anti-theft devices. I got the truck back after it was stolen In 2000. I never figured out how they got around it. It still worked after I got the truck back.

they probably towed it. the diesels around here are being pushed out of the driveway and down the street before they attempt to start them due to the noise they create. Thanks for the heads up on your experience.
