Hey yall. Some of us Central TX folks are trying to set up a drag night in June at Little River Dragway in Little River/Academy (east of Belton/Temple). On the 18th they are having a test & tune and truck shootout. We did this back in March with a pretty good turnout so a couple of us figured we should do it again. Hopefully the weather is better this time (we were on the verge of rain all night) and I don't have food poisoning like I did last time.

Friday, June 18 - 1/4 mile street legal, fun-n-grudge, test-n-tune plus a TRUCK Shoot Out. Two classes - gas and diesel. Gates open at 6:00, racing begins at 6:30.
Even if you don't run, it's still a lot of fun. A lot of us just hang in the pits and drink beer.
Spectators pay $12 ($10 for military) and I believe it is usually another $10 for tech to race.
The track conditions aren't the greatest but there aren't many other options around here and it is still a lot of fun. Post up if you are interested or if you have questions.
