Anyone know the state inspection law as far as how dark a tint can be?

Technically you can have no tint on the front side windows and on the windshield there is a small mark I believe it says (as) or something along those lines and a small line under it that is as far down you can come legally. But depending on where you live and how dark you go most won't bother you. I had 5% on my back and 25% on my doors and windshield and was fine.

I had a PA D.O.T. explain to me that in this state 70 % of the light has to pass through the front side windows. That being said I believe the rear windows can go as dark as you want ,and Free89W350 is correct that you can have nothing below that mark on the windshield. Hope this helps . My front side windows only let 30% and so far no one has bothered me yet .But I'm keeping my fingers crossed ! I still have to get some pictures and get them posted .

yeah pretty much nothing on the front, not a cheap fine, don't ask. but never said anything about the back. most time can get away with it, till you screw up somewhere else.........
