This may be a dumb question to some, but I have no experience with the 12 valve motors. I just bought a 8x20 enclosed trailer and wanna know what mods to tow a little better? I have a custom ground fuel plate already and messed with the pump a little. I also have aftermarket exhaust. I previously had a 04 common rail as some of you may remember.

What plate do you have?

It is the stock plate witha custom grind on it.

what grind is it?

3k gov spring kit. Helped my truck out... can actually do 75-80mph now. Before the kit WOT... standing on the pedal... was good to maybe 71-72mph.

Is that without a trailer nate? Mine will do 80 by it self with no problem

No trailer. Wasn't that it didn't have power, just with a 5 speed, 4.10 gears and fairly small tires it was rev'd right out to the stock gov spring limit.

Do you have gages yet. If not that should be the first up grade. Then go for power mods. Bost elbow, GSK, TIMMING, AFC TUNE. Wiht the 12 v power is cheep and easy.

Pat at big twin did the grind. Have boost elbow. Gauges are waiting to go in.

I would go with timming next set at 16*. Then GSK. Have you done the KDP yet if not let me no. I have step by step directions posted on the site.
