What's the deal with that place? It sure as hell doesn't look like a reservoir - looks more like a swamp. Is there supposed to be good fishing there? If so, what? Catfish?

A buddy called me today saying a buddy of ours got his Exploder stuck out there when trying to go fishing. I for sure thought this was some big damn reservoir and drove out there in my IDI expecting to see a spectacular sight. What a shithole. LOL. The Exploder was buried to its frame in mud and 100% covered in some big flies. When I finally gave it a good yank, the flies flew off and it looked like one massive swarm.

I'll stick to fishing the rivers in the mountains.

From Boise, head East on 84 to the Stagestop exit. Hang a right and you'll pass the Stagestop truck stop. Take an immediate right onto a dirt road and follow it until you see a sign that says Indian Creek Reservoir. Take a right at that sign and you'll see the marsh.

Never been there, spent lots of time at the blacks creek resevoir sinking old dodges and then walking back to kuna in 105* heat.
