Sorry bout ya. I've put on several, and have never had an issue with length, flanges, hangers, bends, anything. Trucks are trucks, if you buy a quality prefab system it's gonna go together right.

Mine went on with out a hitch.

I saw the pics of that sewer pipe you hung under your truck, what was that, 5"? I cant wait to hear that thing on the dyno next month.

I dropped it off tonight. Should come to $350 out the door. I warned them about the mess under there.

I think the only reason I passed emissions was because 3/4 of the exhaust was coming out at the fire wall and underneath the truck.

Thats a good price, I'll be taking my 86 6.9 to him if/when it needs replaced.

Just got it back home. He decided to go with a 2-1/2" dual exhaust to a medium duty truck muffler and 3" out the back. The muffler is the balance. Those big truck mufflers aren't obnoxiously loud and my horses won't hate being pulled behind the truck and will continue to load well. He did a great job. I'd recommend his shop to anyone.

I'm hunting down the leak. He said he hugged that shroud so close on purpose and it's fine. If there are any issues, he'll fix it on his dime.



Dual in - single out big rig muffler... he said it's the highest flowing muffler he has and it's not loud. It has a really nice tone and not obnoxious. The horses will still load well.

4" straight pipe syco, and ya it sounds good..
