If I never have to do this again, I will be a happy man. 12.5 hours to change these dang injectors. I needed a slide hammer to remove 2 of them. I had to buy another socket set and a shotgun cleaning kit to get this done. The truck is alive again, just need to get an appointment set up to have my timing adjusted.

Holy crap I am sore now. Unscrewing those 2 injectors to the point where I could use the slide hammer was hell. Even with a breaker bar and a pipe on the end of it, they barely moved. I was royally surprised I didn't twist the head off either of them. Guess I'll go change my oil and clean the CDR.

Well it's done, took longer than it should have because I'm an idiot. I gave him pulse method specs to set my timing when he had a luminosity meter. I was going to ask which tool he had, but had a brain fart. He gave me a funny look and said ok. When I got it back, the throttle lagged and it smoked alot, even under light acceleration. He told me I wouldn't like it, and I didn't. I took it back the next day and he reset it for free even though I offered to pay. I'm just glad he(Doug) had some IDI experience and knew what needed to be done after I had tried it my way. I wouldn't hesitate to go back should the need arise. He also relocated his shop, it's still on federal way, it's just in the truck shop right behind the Flying J. My truck runs good now, hardly smokes at all at WOT so I guess the fuel screw will get another flat or 2.
