I will pay with cash orcase of beer. The truck wont be too far off from the garrity exit. I'll be doing my P-Pump swap this weekend and i'll need to set my pump timing on the truck. If you have a timing gauge a little experience, and some spare time you would be my hero.
Thanks,
Brendan

I'll be free if you want to do it next week, i have a hunter ed class this weekend. I did a P-pump swap but have not had to set the timing yet. I have the books, and the timing kit.

Killer. Is it easier to do while the front end is off the truck? I was kinda hoping to have everything buttoned up by Saturday.

The front end being off does not matter.
Since you have everything apart, you should take out the #1 injector and bar the engine over to TDC. Put a dowel through the injector hole to tell when you get to TDC. Then mark the balancer and gear cover. This is supposed to be more reliable then sticking the pin in the cam gear method.

Looking at whats all involved, it'll be much easier with things apart. It looks like i'll be best off waiting for you. Doesn't look to hard with everything apart. I might have most of it together by thursday/friday if you can make it. Let me know
