1993 Chevy Suburban with 4" lift, runs great, interior in in great shape no tears, new transfer case put in October 2009 four wheel drive works great, I purchased a 5th wheel and need a truck now, has 111,000 original miles, and a 454 on average i get about 24 highway miles while hauling a load, and 28 with out towing, asking $5000.00 O.B.O would be willing to trade for an extended cab truck please call lonnie with any questions 208-319-6888 or tina 570-4645

i think my burb, if i decide to sell it, 93 4WD 2500 454 should bring me 4k. although it may get 15 mpg on a good day with a tail wind, 13 usually maybe i'll lie about the mpg and tell folks 26 mpg. 13 going and 13 coming back

she even claims to have hand calculated it and brags over 400 miles to the tank. well im trying to remember how big my 92 and 94 burb tanks are but from 38 to 42 gallons. someone correct me.....

i may just keep my burb, sell my cummins srw and sniff a little magic dust....

Maybe its got one of those hydrogen fuel things helping it out. But I agree with yall, they must be on crack. My dad's 92 Chevy 3500 SRW gets 12-13 and its got a 502. 454 was too small. It'll pull a loaded 3 horse trailer over Teton pass doin 65. I aint kiddin either.

They never said 24 MPG .... maybe more like 24 miles to a tank.

And 42 gallons sounds about right. My folks used to have an '87 Suburban with the 6.2L and we could get about 15 to 18 MPG with it if you babied it.
