Billie and I made another try at the track last night but the lock-up issues are worse. I did get my 60' times down to 1.81sec (finally learning how to get my pig to do a burnout). I am down 3 mph vs my best speed from last year so the converter isn't getting any better (I could only manage a 12.09 on my smallest fuel tune and now it doesn't lock-up until 5th on a few of my data logs from last night). Nitrous helped but I never ran more than a .032 jet due to the slippage. Truck screams - it just needs some more tweaking.

Billie is bringing an empty trailer to haul some if they break.

The tech inspector at Tulsa did mention that they would be scheduling an All Diesel Midnight Drag session coming up soon (thanks to the increased diesel activity at the track). I will keep an eye out on their website.

i bet they will like it tonite, with all the diesel trucks comming in to nite...........so when we tech in.. we need to ask if they are going to have a diesel nite

well, i got back at 9:00 a.m. this morning. had a blast. made 4 runs. once with out the clock on, once 2wd and ran a 17.6* somethin like that. then made 2 runs with a 4wd slight boosted launch and ran mid 16 sec runs. had a blast and enjoyed raceing, but still like pulling better.
