Not sure about the dyno graphs.
John Aaron Ed Curtis ill try e-mailing ya your dyno runs but it will be later befor ill get a chance to try. It didnt go so well last night with only 3 in an e-mail.

I am going to do a little research on what effect we can expect from these dyno runs being done in an overdrive gear. I tried running 4th gear (1:1) on my first pull but that run didn't get logged as Cale was not ready. I would expect there to be anywhere from 5-10% difference between the numbers we should see in our trucks (running OD vs 1:1). When I find out more info I'll post. Everyone (me included) likes the big numbers we saw on Saturday but I also want to know how to correct for the OD & weather conditions. Plus I plan to dyno again at BTS with my new motor to make the best comparisons. Just hopping on another dyno won't tell me what I really want to know.

my third run was 1:1 3rd gear not sure what the #s were on that run tho

I think we will see the biggest difference in the torque numbers. Those seem to be affected the most.

Things to remember when dynoing our trucks:

It is important to get on a load cell dyno (which is what we were on Saturday). It helps place a load on the engine to get it to fuel the turbo just like you would under heavy accleration on the road or track.

Inertia dynos that do not load the vehicle and usually they will give lower numbers vs a load cell dyno.

To get the best results for comparisons dyno power runs should be done using whatever gear is direct (1:1). It is difficult with automatics sometimes as you can not always keep the trans from upshifting/downshifting unless you have a manual valvebody or a way to electronically hold a certain gear and lock up the converter.

Mine on the 24th will be in 4th gear with tow haul on.. to lock it up. My only concern is keeping it from downshifting to 3rd.. guess i will have to roll on it easy. Not sure why you guys pulled in OD, but Chris, I bet like John said, there will be a significant difference from your OD pull to a 1:1 pull.

KC - for our benefit would you guys pull in both 4th gear and 5th gear and let us know the differences you guys see between the two. I'd like to have some idea of how the two power numbers compare.

in third my tc unlocked on it i believe is why they decided to run overdrive.

I ran two runs in forth and a run in 3rd. Ed did you ever find out what the tq and hp was on my third run?
