No/E cars. Bracket Only. So it not how fast its how consistant.

Its the 18th not this weekend, sorry got my dates mixed.

That will be a race to watch. I'll need some practice to get anywheree close to being consistent. Still working on the first 60'.

If the wind was going with you would make for some excelent times.

The wind blew across the track (right about 1000' ft). The gas cars and dragsters would only run to the 1/8th mile for safety reasons. They made the diesel trucks wait until all the other cars got time runs. Mine still needs some more tweaking but it is steadily improving. It sucks because that is a fast track. Sounds like they will have their season finals race there.

John were you headin to Rogers today (wed.)? I thought I seen you going north about wagon wheel.

Yes - I was out on 540 testing out a small change to my trans tune. The new combination is solid but it runs a lot warmer than I am used to seeing (probably going to need a bigger cooler). I am also trying to get set-up to monitor drive pressure and egts from both banks.

John have you got you heat under control. Is it just timing & fuel or just to tight of a motor and needs loosened up?

Motor is awesome. Trans is running hot (too much converter slippage). Trying to tune it out but may need to swap converters back. One of the downfalls of being a guinea pig for new parts and of course time is running short to get this done before TS.

At least it's just the trans, i thought it was the motor. Will the other converter slip enough for the power your making for a good launch or is it to tight?
