I just installed the rear drop shackles. That combined with the 2 missing leaf springs dropped the ass end down close to 5" over stock. I have not yet installed the drop keys on the torsion bars (tomorrow) so my truck runs uphill about 2.5" now. Has a nice ethnic feel to it. If I had a set of 8-lug Dayton wire rims and some Vogue white walls I could join a lowrider club.

Anyone have the tool to unload the torsion bar keys? Seems like no one in the Springdale area has it. I tried all the local parts stores to see if they had one in their loaner tool section (nope). I also called Shad @ Macon Motorsports and the guys at DIS and they don't either.

I got the torsion keys in. I went ghetto and used a bottle jack and short punch to get the stock keys unloaded.

Truck sets as low (if not a little lower than a stock V6 gasser half-ton). I will get some pics with the stock tires/wheels and some with the H2s & Kumho directionals.

Going to need a set of 20' ramps to load her onto anything other than a dovetail I think. I have a trick crossmember coming that will tuck up above the lower frame rail and give another 2" of ground clearance. The low point now is the drive shaft loop. It will be getting re-fabbed as well. Next week it gets some better shocks (double adjustable), EBC Yellow brake pads, and then it goes off to summer diesel truck camp in Kansas City.

Pretty soon I am going to break into my tackle box and get some fishing line and some adhesive remover. Then I can de-badge the truck and the transformation should be complete.

What about the Arklahoma sticker? I had ED pick you one up in clear. It should go nice with your clear glass.

Yea i'm not sure if it will fit on my trailer any more cause you were about 1" from touching the cross member to the floor when we loaded it last.

I little tip for a tool to remove the torsion keys.
Just take a good name brand 8" C-clamp and cut the little flat swivel foot off with a cut off wheel and you have the same tool they use at the dealer but a whole lot cheaper.
