I have seen a few videos of the 2.8 & 2.6 truck pulls. They did not finish until after 5am. The track got so muddy they quite trying to smooth it out after each pass. The sled operators finally started letting the front wheels down for the first few feet so the trucks could at least start moving the sled down track. Most pullers could not hook until about 250ft(on the rev limiter the entire length of the track).

The guy I met with the Red extended cab D-Max from Idaho ran 11.02 @ 129mph at the Beech Bend test & tune (his engine build is very similar to mine). Another white RC D-Max (4wd) with a similar motor build & small nos solenoids ran a 10.57 @ close to 130mph at another facility this weekend (he had a 1.49sec 60' time!! That is getting down to what some heavier super gas cars launch at. This really gets my fever back up (I was pretty disgusted after getting home and thinking about the trip and what was wasted).

Next year I will have some sort of a hauler and will be ready to make some of the larger events if they can get a handle on running them. I am having serious doubts about going to Scheids this summer since it seems they are plagued with douchebags as bad as TS was.

Looks like Grant Roark from Joplin placed ninth in the 2.6 class at TS and Dale Stillings from Cassville placed 22nd in the 2.8 class at TS. I have watched some videos from the pulling - the 2.6 lane (spectator side) held up a little better than the 2.8 lane (pit side).
