hey guys whats going on? I have an 82 K20 Scottsdale with a 6.2L right now, had a few problems but nothing major. Going to redo entire truck from ground up its getting pretty bad looking from me always being deployed. But I was thinking about swapping out the 6.2 for a 6.5, anyone have any opinions about that or think its a bad idea??

Really, you are better off starting with the 6.2 as your block. Then, adding 6.5 turbos, heads etc. The 6.2, especially the 82 is bomber.

My motor I just built is a combination using the 6.2 block and a bunch of 6.5 top end stuff. Runs great. Your idea is sound, that OBS truck is sweet.
