yeah I saw that and laughed at the whole install. that one bolt the cable hooks to doesnt come out that easy. ha ha.

But it cant take more than 15 minutes to install

 

I was laughing mostly because they used an allen wrench to remove a bolt that requires a torx bit.. :rolleyes: decent product, but I can do the same thing by holding the tailgate as I let it down.

is this price still on? My son dropped my tail gate twice this weekend and snapped a cord and dented the tail gate.

 

I have one already, it is a good product. I highly recommend it.

 

That link says 50.00 for the 2002-2006. As far as I know mine is the same as the 2002.

Be aware That the listing on the site when it says 2002-2006 thats the 3rd gen Most Store Fronts do not take in to count that only 1500 were 3rd gens in 2002
