I'd be interested in the gauges, depending on the brand and how we could get it setup.

Lucas:
I think what your after is a good thing, but like we spoke on the phone, we need to work with one another on this and maybe only have one going on at a time or none of us will do well. With this on now, we have three different vendors trying to do one, and none of us will be successfull if the members are trying to decide which one they want to partake in, just a thought.
I started the Mag-hytec deal on the first of the month because that hadn't been offered here since I came on board.

Ken, This one wont be decided on or started until all the others are finished and everything is planned amongst everyone! this is all per our conversation the other day!
I'm simply asking folks for ideas on what the next group buy, Kinda elimination i guess you could say! This is not how we're going to do this group buy, this is simply the process of elimination!

Good Points , And We will learn as we go whats best for everyone ,

If you Remember :
We ran a trial to where all Group Buys had to be Ok'd by staff And no one presented one during that time so we pulled it as its just more work for us .

The Sticky in the Group Buy Forum Hints to the Staff for Setting them up with vendors
https://www.dieselbombers.com/group-...buys-info.html

We can plan this out and regulate it if thats what you all want .

I dont think thats for the best tho as...

If Diesel Bombers is involved the Group Buy Price Must be Significantly Lower than the product can be easily had for and OK'd by the Manufacture.

Most manufactures don't want to under cut there "Other" dealers , So your Damned if you do and Damned if you dont .

Since inception ive priced some of the group buys here , The first one i checked was more than retail .

For group buys to work ANYWHERE the profit margin needs cut significantly and the Profit is to be made by selling mass quantities .

Give us a Product we can use and a Great Price and the Customers will Jump on board .

Set a Goal ! if we get

10 People the price is $xxx.xx
20 people the price will be $xxx.xx

If below MAP pricing then it needs to be Ok'd with Manufacture for everyones protection .

Whats best is if Vendors do there own leg work Pick a product and talk to there supplier and ask them what kind of deal they can get for selling 10 of them then passing the saving onto the community

In my opinion ... A Proper Group buy isnt a vendor picking a product and starting a group buy on it , Its them doing what it takes to ensure that everyone involved Benefits from it

If this was to be regulated Via Diesel Bombers There wouldn't be any Group Buy w/o direct contact to the Manufactures.

Its up to you were all in this together
