The ones being R&D are just ceramic coated ones. The ones with the clear coat on them, one is in my office, the other is in a NHRDA trailer for shows...I plan on sending another one to that guy to coat and clear. I'll call them and ask about the clear though...I really do not have any idea.

My pleasure really...and please if you or anyone else have any ideas for stacks, exhaust, don't hesitate to ask! I'm always looking for the next thing to offer our customers!

This is what I was told by the guy who ceramic coated the stacks. The clear is applied the same as the ceramic. It is called "Cerma Seal", which is a clear coating that is applied to the stacks that is good up to 1400 degrees. Pretty much it protects the finish just like a clear finish on a paint job...only better.
