Bill is finishing his son's (Jeff) truck. Jeff started this truck long before he got sick. I believe after the run in the mud with it, that they are doing something with the truck as well. I'm not sure, I'll find out, and let everyone know.
note** 109 total donations...only 1.5 hours left to go....

We had a guy in the Fire Dept whos son died. We all new his sone REAL well, he grew up at the Dept. After his death His dad would bring his sons truck (pride and Joy) up to the station every week to wash it, it was how he connected with his son after he passed. The rest of us would sit on the bumper of a engine and cry, I'm sure that everyone driving by thought the Fire Dept was a bunch of wusses, If they only knew. Still has his sons truck and I'm sure he will never get rid of it.
True I'm sure the first run through the mud will be a tough one, but it'll be well worth it.
I found out that once the truck makes the first run which will be an emotional one due to the fact it'll be Jeff's father Bill, sister Jen, and his mother, they will be keeping it down there. Then anyone who want's a ride in the truck will make a donation, and get to ride around the mud trails. The money at the end of the night will be turned over to either the make a wish foundation, or the childrens hospital in Pittsburg Pa.
The truck will make it's run out at Yankee Lake truck night. Not sure what day it'll run but I can keep ya informed if ya like.
