They are all good trucks intill they break down.

 

Don't get me wrong folks I'm a Cummins man to the fullest. But they all have their goods and bads.

 

I just love how many 6.0L haters there are, and the fact that 90% of them have never owned one. The biggest problem I've had with my rig in the 3 1/2 years I've owned it was my fuel pump going out right after I bought it and the dealership replaced that under warranty. Everyone loves the 7.3L and for good reason, the 99-03 was the best time for it, but when it comes down to it, you line one up against a 6.0 that has the EGR and head studs done and have both trucks with equal mods (programmer, exhaust, intake) the 6.0 is gonna win, it's the same way with putting a 6.0 against a 6.4L

 

I gave up a long time ago, it doesnt matter what anyone says about anybody else's truck, someone's always got something better. they're all pieces of $hit, it just depends on which one you like most

 

To add onto my previous post. There will always be rivalry, but keep the bashing down. Do you really think saying "6.slow, 6.uh oh, powerjoke" and everything else really gets under our skin? Not to me it doesn't, it just gets REALLY annoying. I can't speak for other guys, but I knew exactly what I was getting into when I bought my truck.

 

i get "powerchoke" A LOT. But then again i live at a school where everyone and their brother (and extended family ) owns a cummins.

 

I think it's funny how all the cummins guy hate on ford guys and really for guys don't bash on chevy guys and vise versa. Lol. It's like there making up for something else. Just messing but it's like I always say to each his own it's watever fits you.

From what ive noticed the cummins and duramax guys normally don't pick on each other,

what i don't like is the fact of these Kids ( even though im 19 myself ) can just plug a programmer into their truck and make it smoke, they think they are cool cause they can go fast and smoke alot,

to me that is pretty lame, With my truck Ive got work into it to make it the way it is. So Im proud.


Id buy a 6.0 even though im a major cummins fan, It'd have to have headstuds and an egr delete. after that it is almost bulletproof like the 7.3, and pretty quick out of the box,

Ill admit i do bash fords, but ive got a reason, I work on them ALOT at work where our fleet of dumptrucks are all fords with 6.0s and 5.4 gassers,
