I have found a 06 4x4 Duramax that was rolled it has a cab off of a 2wd half ton 5.3 truck on it now. The cab is basically just bolted down. What all terrible wiring issues will there be with finishing this project I am fairly certain that the wire harness under the dash will need to be changed there are no buttons for the 4wd the steering column was already swapped for the original D-max with the buttons for the allison but there are also the buttons for the stereo controls which was not on the half ton cab. Is there anybody or any shop in the North Central Alabama area that has done this before or would want to give an estimate for finishing this project if I bought it?

I may honestly be better off to just spend the money and buy a fully functional truck LMAO

 

just about everything, if it does not hook up directly ur going to swap the part from the old truck into there.

the gauge cluster will have to go and the buttons for the 4x4 is probably part of the whole harness.
