Automotive.com is a pretty good research source for this kind of stuff. Here's what they say:

Front Headroom (in.) 40.8 41.3 41.0
Front Legroom (in.) 41.0 41.0 41.3
Rear Legroom (in.) 36.7 41.7 39.1
Front Shoulder (in.) 67.0 68.0 65.2
Rear Shoulder Room (in.) 66.7 68.0 65.1
Front Hip Room (in.) 64.9 67.4 61.4
Rear Hip Room (in.) 64.6 67.3 62.9

Go pick The year and make you want to look at. Then click compare. It'll give you the class leaders in that segment. there is a lot of specs you can grab from this.

I think Gm is much nicer..Took a mega cab for a test drive. I found that they have shorter front end but higher cab? if that makes sense..let you know after i reread it.. Interior is nicer in the Chevy , cause thats what im used too.. but It depends what your style is..if looks or quality.. where there again stay with chevy... my 2 cents..

It depends on the year too, the 800 Chevys will squeak and rattle after 50K miles, I had one, it drove me nuts. The 900's are great interiors, better than the current Dodges as far as looks go IMO, but its a little to carlike to me, everything just feels less tough, and easily ruined. The Mega Cab is 12" longer than the Ford Crewcab, which is the second largest 4 door cab available, so the Mega really is huge. If you want the most legroom in the rear, the Mega wins hands down, its like a limo back there. But if you need a long box, the Dodge 3/4 crew (Quad Cab) is your only option for a Dodge. Its big enough for me 6'1 220lbs on a short (less than 2-3hr) ride, but if you plan on traveling to grandma's house 8 hrs away, teenage boys (or tall girls) are going to get annoying in a hurry.
I prefer the Dodge interior over the 800 or 900 GMT's, but again, it all boils down to what YOU like.

I would go test drive both and see what fits you better, the Dodge quad cab is like the gm extended cab but it has doors that can open without the front door opening. The Gm crew is bigger than the Dodge quad cab and smaller than the mega cab. My .02 is the mega cab looks like the cab is to big.

Like everyone said the Chevy has the bigger rear seats and doors unless you get a limocab I'm mean Megacab. Also, I noticed that you are wanting 4X4. If you do a lot of heavy offroading the Dodge will hold up better. If you do a lot of OTR towing or light offroading then the Chebby will be your choice.
