Wiring With RelaysHave you ever tried to run a welder, air compressor, or battery charger plugged into a long extension cord? It doesn’t work very well. The reason it doesn’t work well is due to the length of the wire connecting the tool to the power source. Using a long wire (or extension cord, in this case) means increased electrical resistance, which means not enough power to get the job done. If you own an older truck (built before 1998), you probably have a long series of wires that stretch from the battery to the fuse box to the headlight switch on the dash, and then back to the headlights. By adding a relay, you effectively create a shortcut for the electricity. This means more power for your headlights, because of the decrease in wire length (and resistance). In our case, the battery was less than 1 foot away from the headlights, so adding relays made perfect sense.

Yeah headlight relays are pretty common. That or HIDs.

 

Hii,I tried the way you said firstly I was confused and it didn't went that way but after 5 attempt it does worked fine.Thanks for the information ,its really working and I got to learn this new technique.

 

HID kits can be bought from DDM tuning (a prominent HID company) with lifetime warranty for under $50. Most kits are 35w, I paid $70 for my 6k 55w which light up the night.

 

Or you could check out theretrofitsource.com for real good HID equipment. While we're on the subject, might wanna make sure the lenses are clear and clean to or it'd be pointless.

 

I switched out my factory headlights for clear aftermarkets. Not as good of a beam as projectors, but couldnt find a projector setup that didnt look ricer-ish on my truck.

 

Most of those are halogen projectors anyway. The retrofit source only sells hid equipment for you to retrofit your headlights with. Check out HIDplanet, nice setups there. Looks like you got a ford. Yeah the bigger the headlight is, it seems the ricer they make them when it comes to anything involving a projector. An angel eyed halogen projector with LEDs on one side like sideways eyelashes or other lame ****.
