I can't take it anymore.

Lets put it this way. One way trip to my school is 3.2 miles exactly. One school day (there and back 6.4 miles) will take away 1 1/2 little marks on the gas guage( eighth tank).

That is just ridicules. And just today getting gas I went 12 miles straight flat road no stop lights and I went down 2 eighth marks. I literary see the needle drop everysingle day.

What could be the problems? I have cleaned out the air filter with compressor air. And filed tires to the recommend psi. Lowered the PPE. Iv done everything.


Can you guys please give me some pointers on this ? What do you guys do?
Also, the air filter is probably 6+ months old but I blew it out from the inside until dust stopped coming out. If that's the problem thank the lord that its a easy fix.

LB7 are known for bad injectors

 

Yeah you could have an injector problem ,but if you are putting that much fuel in your oil you better get it fixed soon. I'd check the oil, but i'd look for a return line leak also. are you noticing any wet spots. in the driveway i mean.

 

Injectors where just replaced under warrenty maybe 5 months ago. I will check for fuel in oil though.

And yea I have checked for spots on driveway. That's what I figured was the problem.
I'm thinking it may be my air filter...maybe 6 months since its been replaced but u clean it out with the air compressor every month or so.
