Triple turbos.....like you've NEVER seen before
I know I'm going to probably get bashed for saying this, but maybe the guy is actually on to something. Granted, it looks less than professional, but you have to give the guy props for taking a radical idea and running with it. Sure, he could use to run his mouth a little less, but some people get off on hearing their own voice...whether it be out loud or on the internet.
I can remember back when I first got my truck, there was talk of putting superchargers on diesels and all the old "wise" forum posters bashed it and said it was not only impossible but counterproductive... I argued my fingers off trying to explain the benifits of a supercharger/turbocharger combination, but they all slammed me....and when it comes to the internet, strength in numbers always wins. HOWEVER....what's the latest trend rapidly growing in diesel technology??? SUPERCHARGERS!!!
Take a second to think about it, and maybe you can at least kind of see the potential in the guys triple turbo setup... Taking some fabrication and welding classes is a must, but lets just ignore that bit for a second.
In theory, if he would fabricate a custom exhaust manifold that isolated the paired cylinders for each turbo, and properly supported the turbos from vibrating to pieces...then size the turbos appropriate for peak airflow of the 2 cylinders...utilize a bunch of porting...fab up a 3-into-1 induction crossover tube...he could potentially have a RAPIDLY spooling triple turbo setup that's capable of moderate amounts of boost. It would take quite a bit more learning and experimentation on his part, but I personally like the idea, and if I had the time and the money to experiment with something like that, I would definitely give it a try. You never know, it could be the next big thing....
Just trying to keep an open mind, because I've been slammed before on something that turned out to be a big thing... Don't be too quick to crush outside ideas about our passion....not EVERYTHING is known about Diesel performance...yet. Just sayin...

fummins i think the reason that he is getting bashed on is not because of the triple turbo idea but because of his frabrictaion skills which are really lacking. There are some guys that have built triple and even quad trubo set ups that do not stick up as far as this jokers do.
this guy kinda reminds me of someone that used to be on here with a know-it-all and i am never wrong additude.
