I have been a diesel nut for as long as I can remember. Ask anyone who knows me. My family owns a construction company and I've always been around trucks and heavy equipment.

I love the sound, the different smells, and the power. One of the smells I like is when you just change oil and you can smell the new oil coming out through the breather.

One of my favorite sounding diesels is the 3406 Cat. Any of the models. I love the whine that they have and just the overall sound. In my opinion, its the best sounding diesel besides the screamin Detroits. The 3406E seems to have the best whine to it though.

Its called turbo lag,its not added at the factory.

I love the sound when they decelerate back to idle

 

I love that as soon as you get a diesel you start looking at other vehicles and say oh it's just a gas. diesel makes my world go round.

Ha..i dig the way i go up the mountain[atv loaded] and everyone gets in the fast lane thus leaving the right lane wide open....sswiisshhhh whoops there fade the guys in the fast lane... Oh and the coolest thing is that my 4 1/2 tun truck gets better diesel mileage then my 08 Jeep Commander..oh ya

 

Me too. Yesterday I saw a nice F-250 parked next to my rig when I came out of Home Depot and as I was walking up I had a nice grin...until I came around the back of my truck and saw the infamous "Triton V10" badge on his fender. I pouted for a bit until I turned the key and my baby whistled to life. Lol. Another thing I love about diesels is when I have a cutie ridin' shotgun when I shut it down and the whole truck gets that nice shake.
