Sweet. Yea i'll probably take a trip up there later next year and get a feel for the area itself before I pull the trigger on that situation.

Any information on the school? Any pro or cons I should know about. Anything I should have or know before I enroll?

As for 4wheelers, 88% of the state is owned by the BLM. Its public access. You just have to get an ORV stamp available from any 4wheeler dealer.

They will provide most of the books for the classes you take. Atleast they did when I went in 01. Other misc stuff they will give you a list of. They cram alot of info down your throat in a short amount of time.

Sweet. Well I already got my OHV sticker for the ranger so that works out.

And the school seems to be very thorough. I havent really heard anything negative about it yet. Im just sceptical because I know the kinda BS that UTI feeds people so Im cautious when it comes to any vocational programs.

I wouldn't go that far. Their program is geared more towards people who have never touched wrench to engine. You'll learn a lot of basic stuff. and in that part they are very detailed. If you already have a good background in mechanics then the program will be pretty easy. IF your good at taking written tests, you'll ace the program no problem.

Last I knew you couldn't take an aux course by itself. You could stay there as long as you wanted but the minimum amount of time you could spend there was 9 months. 6 month main and a 3 month aux course. Adv Diesel is a 3 month course. (or was)

UNOH! the instructors will teach the normal training to the kids, but if they see u taking it in to easy, they will teach u more. i loved it there. a few people i have talked to about wyotech said it sucked. didnt train like they wanted. same with nashville auto diesel.
