Yeah $40 bandsaws work wonders

This is where everything came from except the stacks and cross box.

Dynaflex Chrome Muffler Stacks | Chrome Stacks | Rubber Intake Elbows | Donaldson Mufflers

They are pretty cheap and quick to ship. I've had good luck with everything I get from them.

I just personally dont like look of stacks over 4-6 inches higher than the cab, VERY few trucks can pull that off, but I have seen a couple that looked good

And regarding your question of stacks copying semis.... if I'm running stacks I'm not trying to copy a semi, if I was I would run them high up in the air. I personally like the sound and like throwing my smoke up in the air, and not on the traffic running next to me. and also, a lot of diesel competition organizations require a vertical facing exhaust for safety reasons, so they have to run stack(s), but they may not like the semi look, so they keep it at 36"

Just my personal opinion, I think bullhaulers are the fart cans of the diesel world

i hate the stacks that sit behind the cab to. my 5inch turnout stacks are out 40inch tall and when you look from the front of the truck you see the turnout part. everyone tells me they look good.
