oh there is, you tye it in to the grid heater relay and it wont turn the engine over till it kicks out

Horribly unsafe idea. Like dead baby bad. It is easy to install, but there is no way in hell I'd ever risk it, especially not with the low-end torque of a diesel. Start that sucker up in gear, and it doesn't stop until it's WAY too late.

There are good reasons it's illegal. Please don't do it.
