i was goin down the interstate today an when i got into the throttle i heard a real bad whining noise coming from the direction of my turbo. it sounded almost like a bearing squealing badly. it only does it when i get into the throttle and start to build boost. im goin in the morning to have it looked at. what should i expect?

My guess would be bearings hoofed, impeller contacting the compressor housing.

Good news is, now you have the perfect excuse to get a bigger turbo!

 

would a hx40 turbo be better than replacing the hx35?
