i fianlly get to do my first oil change on my truck and i usually go with Rottella-t 15-40 but i wanted to know what everyone else is runnin... brands, weights and such

i run rotella t 15-40 in my 12 valve. i've never had any kind of problem with it. my brother n a couple of my buddies run it in their duramaxes n a couple other buddies run it in their powerstrokes. never heard anybody say anything bad about it.

 

i run rotella my self but if i ever get some of the oil leaks slowed down i am gonna swap over to amsoil synthetics seems like people are having good luck with it

 

rotella T...i bought my truck with 18k miles on it and i now have 72k mikes have had no problems and i ran it in my prievious truck as well..

 

yea a guy who i work with also runs the amsoil and he swears by it. left a quart out in the snow over night and the next morning it poured as if it were room temp. i ran royal purple in my last two vehicles and loved it... anyone run that?

 

i use rotella t because i can afford that and it works just fine
