thanx cause i dont think it been changed in a long time i think its time the rear oil may have never been changed the guy i bought my truck of tried to run into the ground you know

I am overkill but i do mine every 2 years just cause. 1 suggestion go with a synthetic. It dissapates heat the best.

If you're not sure of the history of it, probably a good idea to change it out. Synthetic highly recommended. It should be good for 25-50k depending on what you put in there.

Every 30k here. Synthetic 75-90 if a daily driver and some towing or 75-150 severe gear if pulling heavy all the time.

I glued a strong small magnet onto the drain plug with two component glue.

So when I check the level, I also can see metal shavings and wear.
