my 01 cummins came with a recent conversion that was done at the stealship they put a new pump in the tank and bypassed the pump on the block and a new vp i have about 4000 miles on it and i am wondering how the in tank pump performs and how long will it be before i need to do away with it i had a straw pickup and an airdog that went out yesterday and i am now looking into getting a new system but i really notice a huge dif in my performance now so really my question is how long do i have before the new mopar intank pump goes and what kind of pressure is it throwing at my vp

Installing a fuel pressure gauge would take alot of the guesswork out of it, now and in the future, regardless of what pump you end up using.
