gotta love old diesels that are babied for there life till i get them. seems like every old 6.9 i get has beenowned by a old couple. i take my 86 out tonight for a little cruise, started climbin a hill near us. well catch up to a jeep doing 45 in 55. well passing lane coming up so i floor it. WOT for about a minute. get passed them and slide back into my lane and let off since i was doing 75. look in the rearview mirror and all i see is a bright orange shower of sparks coming of both stacks. the jeep backed way off when that happened. i floor it twice in neutral while coasting to get everything out that i could. just seeing the sparks flying out at 70 mph in the pitch black probly looks sweet as all hell.


guess they put them spark arrestors on some fords for a reason.

 

ha this happened to me at 6am playing in the snow on my way home and i see sparks coming out my exhaust i was what the hell was that it was cool looking in the dark only did it for a sec with the foot in the throttle

 

crawler i bet that gave you a little pup tent and a smile to see that
